What this website collects

Only what you type into the contact form. The rest of the site is static: no user area, no account registration and no record of your browsing. There is no database behind it and no visitor profiling.

The measurement cookies described in the next section are set.

Visit measurement: Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to know how many people visit, which pages they read and which country they arrive from. It exists to decide what to write next, not to identify you.

• What it collects. Page views, time on page, device and browser type, language, approximate country and city, and where you arrived from (search engine, link, social network). It does not collect your name, your email or anything you type.
• Cookies. It sets first-party cookies — _ga and _ga_<id> — holding a random identifier so you are not counted twice. They expire after two years and you can delete them from your browser at any time.
• Your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store it: it uses it to infer the country, then discards it. That is this version's default behaviour, not an option that has to be switched on.
• Who receives it. Google LLC, acting as processor. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
• How to opt out. Use the official opt-out add-on, turn on Do Not Track or your browser's tracker blocking, or delete the site's cookies. Nothing on the site stops working if you do.
• What is not done. No advertising, no remarketing, no social network pixels, no selling data to anyone.

The contact form

The form on the contact page collects your name, your email address, optionally your phone number and the text of your enquiry.

• What it is used for. Only to reply to you and, where relevant, arrange an appointment. It is not used for advertising, not shared with third parties and not added to any mailing list.
• How it travels. It is sent encrypted over HTTPS and arrives as an email in the practitioner's professional mailbox. No copy is kept on the site's server or in any database: the message lives in that mailbox.
• How long it is kept. For as long as it is useful in answering you, and deleted once it is not. You can ask for it to be deleted sooner.
• What not to write there. Email is not an end-to-end encrypted channel. Do not include diagnoses, laboratory results or sensitive clinical detail in the form: saying what you need is enough. Clinical matters are handled in consultation, with the confidentiality they deserve.
• Spam protection. The handler applies a technical check — a hidden field, a minimum fill time and a per-IP submission limit — to stop automated junk. No third-party CAPTCHA service is used, so your browser does not talk to anyone else when you send.

Third-party services involved

To function, the page loads resources from two external providers. Loading a resource means your browser discloses your IP address to them, as happens on any website:

• Google Fonts. The Figtree and Azeret Mono typefaces are used. Google may log the request. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Hostinger. Site hosting. Their server keeps technical access logs, as any hosting does.

Any new tool added will be documented here before it is activated, as was done with Google Analytics.

When you message on WhatsApp

The buttons on this site open a WhatsApp conversation with a pre-written message. At that point you leave this website and enter a Meta Platforms service, with its own terms and its own data processing.

What you write in that chat is received by the practitioner and used solely to answer your query and arrange the appointment. It is not transferred to third parties, not used for advertising and not added to any mailing list unless you ask.

Patient clinical data

Health information gathered in clinic — history, laboratory results, body composition results, clinical record — is handled under professional confidentiality, as health data requires.

• It is used only for your assessment, your nutritional plan and your follow-up.
• It is not shared with third parties without your express authorisation, except where legally required.
• If coordination with your treating physician takes place, it happens with your knowledge.
• Your body composition PDF report is sent to you, by email or WhatsApp, as you prefer.

This information is kept for as long as clinical follow-up requires and as Panamanian regulation requires for health records.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to the information held about you, have it corrected if inaccurate, obtain a copy, or request its deletion where no legal retention obligation applies. Simply write through the channels on the contact page.

Minors

The practice sees adults aged 18 to 59. This site is not directed at minors and does not knowingly collect their information.

Some pages link to external resources. This policy does not cover those sites; each has its own.
