Once there is a diagnosis, food stops being a matter of habit and becomes treatment. This service opens a clinical record, adapts the plan strictly to your condition and supports the process with objective measurement rather than a bathroom scale.

I work alongside your treating physician, not instead of them. Clinical nutrition does not replace medication or medical follow-up: it complements both, and frequently allows both to work better.

Frequently asked questions

No, and that matters. Clinical nutrition is complementary treatment. I do not prescribe or withdraw medication: that belongs to your physician. What I do is adjust nutrition so that medical treatment works under better conditions, and communicate with your doctor when needed.

Yes, strongly recommended. Bring the most recent you have: lipid panel, glucose, HbA1c, fasting insulin, liver and kidney function, and any study related to your diagnosis. I hold an international certificate in biochemical test interpretation, so those results are integrated into the plan.

Yes. The nutritional approach to type 1 differs from type 2: it centres on carbohydrate counting, insulin timing and protection of muscle mass. Detail on the diabetes page.

That is the norm, not the exception. Insulin resistance with dyslipidaemia, or metabolic ovarian syndrome with overweight, or Crohn’s with associated malnutrition. The clinical record exists precisely to order priorities when several conditions compete.
